SOLTI'S SPONSORS

Prrrleased to hear via A Nonny Mouse (??) that violinist and cellist sisters Lucy and Kate Gould are starting a new festival: the Ironstone Chamber Music Festival, in the picturesque village of Horley in North Oxfordshire, on 28th and 29th June 2013. Kate says: "The ICMF gives us a rare chance to play together and invite friends and colleagues who have a personal connection to us both. We are thrilled to be joined by Simon Blendis, Lily Francis and pianist Viv McLean, who will give a lunchtime recital of Chopin piano works." Evening concerts include piano quintets by Schumann and Dvorak and string quartets by Beethoven and Haydn: "many temptations that might draw you to this beautiful part of England!" The festival doesn't yet have a website. For info/booking, please contact howelltessa@hotmail.co.uk or phone 01295 738313. Prize purrs and a thank-you nose-nudge to the Goulds and also to "Nonny".

A happy cat means a happy blogger. Support JDCMB and gain valuable visibility by becoming a sponsor of Solti's cat food! You'll receive a special thank-you message in this box, with links to your concert/festival/recording/musical organisation/music school/other relevant project. We suggest £7.50 to support one week's display, or £25 for a month. Please contact chief-of-staff's Facebook page for details.
